Why a professional email signature matters
An email signature is the digital equivalent of a business card, it communicates professionalism, provides essential contact information, and reinforces brand identity in every message you send. Studies consistently show that emails with professional signatures receive higher response rates because they signal legitimacy and make it easy for recipients to follow up through their preferred channel.
A well-designed signature should include your full name, role, company, a direct email address, a phone number, and your website. Keep it under five lines of information to avoid overwhelming the reader. A single accent color that matches your brand palette adds personality without looking cluttered.
This tool generates a clean HTML table-based signature compatible with Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, and virtually every other email client. Table-based HTML is intentional, email clients do not reliably support CSS Grid or Flexbox, so tables remain the industry standard for email layouts. The generated code is inline-styled, meaning it will render correctly even in clients that strip external stylesheets.
To install: click "Copy HTML", then in Gmail go to Settings → See all settings → General → Signature → (create new) → paste. In Outlook, go to File → Options → Mail → Signatures → New → paste into the editor in HTML mode.
Frequently asked questions
Will my signature look the same in all email clients?
The table-based, inline-styled HTML is designed for maximum compatibility. Minor rendering differences between clients are normal but the core layout is consistent.
Can I add a logo or photo?
The basic generator does not include image support, logos in email signatures require a hosted image URL. Edit the copied HTML to add an img tag pointing to your logo URL.
Is my data stored?
No. Everything runs in your browser. No form data is transmitted to any server.
