A US company, from Bangladesh.
Stripe and PayPal are still not available in Bangladesh, which is exactly why Bangladesh Bank's July 2026 circular found freelancers routing income through Binance and KuCoin for better rates, a pattern the central bank now treats as a money-laundering risk. A US LLC with real US banking gets you out of that grey zone entirely.
What's included
- LLC or C-Corp filed in the state you choose, in 1-2 business days
- EIN from the IRS with no SSN or ITIN required
- Registered agent and a US business address
- Operating agreement and your stamped formation certificate
- The domain, if you still need one, at the price you keep renewing at
- Bookkeeping and US tax filing when the company starts trading
What it costs
Plus the state filing fee, paid straight through to the Secretary of State. Wyoming $100, New Mexico $50, Delaware $110 with a $300 annual franchise tax on top.
What Bangladeshi guides skip
Stripe and PayPal are not the workaround problem, they are simply unavailable
Neither operates in Bangladesh for individuals or businesses. Bangladesh Bank's own July 2026 FEPD-1 Circular No. 22 names Payoneer as a recognised payment gateway partly because there is no formal Stripe or PayPal channel to recognise instead. A US LLC with its own EIN gets genuine Stripe access that does not exist any other way from Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Bank requires repatriation, not restriction, of foreign earnings
Under the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1947, income earned through a foreign entity must eventually come home through an authorised dealer bank rather than sit offshore indefinitely. IT-sector exporters can retain up to 50% of net earnings abroad in an ERQ account, other service exporters up to 30%. Forming the LLC itself is unrestricted.
The IT export tax exemption is real and time-limited
Under the Finance Act 2024, income from IT and technology-enabled services earned between July 2024 and June 2027 is fully exempt from income tax, provided it arrives by bank transfer rather than cash or informal channels. An e-TIN registration and annual filing with the NBR is still required even when tax owed is zero.
Can you actually open a US bank account?
The honest answer, which is more than most providers will give you.
What actually works for Bangladeshi founders
- Payoneer is officially recognised by Bangladesh Bank as a payment gateway and is widely used, including through bKash's integration.
- Wise can receive funds into a Bangladeshi bank account, though it does not issue outbound-capable accounts to residents.
- Stripe becomes usable once the LLC has its EIN, which is the whole point of forming it.
What to know before you rely on it
- Mercury does not accept Bangladesh. It is explicitly named on Mercury's own published prohibited-countries list.
- We cannot confirm Relay's position on Bangladesh from any official source. Apply and verify directly rather than assuming either way.
- OPGSP inbound payments are capped at $10,000 per transaction, and amounts above $20,000 require an online Form-C declaration.
- The EIN takes 4-6 weeks for non-US founders, and most payment tools need it before they fully activate.
Why we say this out loud. Every competitor advertises a US bank account as though it were part of the package. It is not, for anyone, and pretending otherwise just moves the disappointment to after you have paid. Form the company for the entity, the EIN and the ability to take Stripe payments. Treat the bank account as a separate application with a real chance of rejection.

How this works. NameMarshal is not a law firm or an accountancy practice, and nothing on this page is legal or tax advice. Company formation, EIN and registered agent services here are fulfilled by our formation partner doola. Foreign-owned US LLCs generally have to file Form 5472 with a pro-forma Form 1120 every year, even with no income, and the penalty for missing it is steep. Ask us and we will point you at someone licensed to handle it.
