.ai is the country-code domain for Anguilla, adopted informally by the AI industry the way .io was adopted by developers. Google treats it as a generic extension for search purposes, and registration has no connection to Anguilla itself.

  • Open to anyone, anywhere. Unlike some country-code domains that require local presence or a trademark, .ai has no residency requirement. Register from any country.
